In America: Nostalgia
This project was made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual college design competition, in which it placed as runner-up. The project represents American nostalgia in two ways; the nostalgia of the country as a whole, and nostalgic stories of individual Americans. The silhouette and styling is inspired by depression era workwear as well as quilting of the same era, and the patches depict childhood memories of people from all over the country.
